Colima is the third smallest of the Mexican states with a population of 542,000. The name is derived from Nahuatl and means domain of the ancestors or gods.
It has a long coastline that boasts a number of excellent beaches with an interior that has the moutains of the Sierra Madre, rivers and and active volcano. The main cities are Colima and Manzanillo which is a fishing, tourist and port city.
