Hidalgo is a centrally located state in Mexico that borders Veracruz, Puebla and Querétaro. The main cities are the state capital Pachuca and Tula which features the ancient Toltec ruins. Hidalgo has a population of 2,345,000.
The economy is driven primarily by mining of Zinc, Lead and other ores.
